about us
Goyche Fuddle Pillge Khatir (GFPK) – For the Sake of Goa's Future Generations
GFPK is a registered civic institution - Reg. No. 67/Goa/2022, established 3 August 2022 - working across Goa on environmental protection, land governance, heritage preservation, and community rights.

A Permanent Institution, Not a Single Cause
GFPK was established to serve Goa across generations - not as a single campaign or one advocate's cause, but as a permanent, evidence-based institution: governed collectively, accountable to the communities it serves, and built to outlast any one issue.

How GFPK Operates
Three characteristics define how GFPK operates:

Evidence before advocacy
Research and documentation come first; public engagement and policy work follow from what the evidence shows.

Collective governance
GFPK is led by a Steering Committee and a President, by deliberate design - no single individual carries the institution alone.

Built for future generations
Every decision is weighed against a simple question: will this leave Goa stronger for those who inherit it next?
What We Do and How
GFPK's mandate spans the whole of Goa. One way that mandate is carried out is direct, village-level engagement - meeting citizens in their own communities, in Konkani, through the ongoing 'I Care For Goa' movement. Where the law requires it, GFPK also takes formal legal action to hold public institutions accountable.

Who We Are
GFPK answers to a Steering Committee, not to any single voice - the same collective structure that shapes every decision the institution makes.
